Welcome to the road to Le Mans. The Le Mans Virtual Cup is a new community driven esports competition in rFactor 2, designed in partnership with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the 2021 Le Mans Virtual Cup has been created to promote great racing for everyone, and open the opportunity for drivers to earn a place on the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hour Virtual grid this 15th – 16th January.

Set to run directly alongside the Le Mans Virtual Series, the Le Mans Virtual Cup starts on September 3rd with open qualification for the first round of the season at the Monza Grand Prix Circuit. Joining via the rFactor 2 Competition System, drivers will have until September 12th in order to secure a place on the starting grid, with points awarded on a per-race basis, across the full three round series and into the grand final at Le Mans in December.
Points will be awarded for finishing positions from the opening three races, with the championship order then determining who takes to the grid in our Super Final round at Le Mans on December 18th. The grid for this race will be formed based on championship order, and for the first 2 drivers across the line, a place on the grid at the main Le Mans 24 Hours Virtual event will be your reward!

How to enter
“Qualification and races for each of the opening three rounds of the season will be held in the rFactor 2 Competition System, with qualification taking place in advance of the race at the end of the month. Drivers will be required to set a hotlap time on the chosen track for that round, with the drivers then invited to participate in the race for championship points, across multiple splits.
