Q3 2022 Content Hotfix Update Released

Hello sim racers,

Hotfix update time! The team here at Studio 397 have been hard at work looking at a few outstanding issues to some of our content that released alongside the recent Q3 2022 update for rFactor 2, and despite the not inconsiderable difficulties associated with deploying updates during active Competition System seasons – we’ve managed to put together a few nice improvements that we will detail below.

A note on the Competition System and Updates

It is worth noting that due to how the Competition System currently works within rFactor 2, it is not possible to upload these new changes to an active competition. As all of these cars are currently in use within the CS, and because we didn’t want to delay this update for the wider community, players will have access to two versions of these cars within their rFactor 2 install – the current version, as will continue to be used in the CS, and the new, updated version which can be used anywhere else within the simulation. In time, when the CS is updated, the new versions will be brought forward into the Competition System.
