Congratulations to all participants! Overall we are pleased how we managed to complete the 24 hours. We would like to thank our partners for producing this unique event with us. It was a great challenge to put this event together and we hope everyone enjoyed the experience. A race this big is never without incidents. Not in real life and not in a simulation. Unfortunately we had a few technical challenges. These impacted some of the drivers and teams, which is really unfortunate. We understand and share their frustration.
Like in real racing, every competitor is a highly strung athlete, competing to win with 100% passion and energy. They want their cars to work perfectly, which is not always the case. Virtual racing brings together many different aspects: software, hardware and internet connections to name a few. Each aspect in turn can fail, as some people may have experienced at during the race.
We are now investigating what went wrong and aim to make improvements as part of the rFactor 2 development. Our ambition is clear: to offer the best possible experience for all drivers in every race we run. Our platform is amongst the best the esports has to offer, always pushing the limits of technology, which also means that problems may sometimes occur. In future roadmap updates we will keep you informed about our progress in resolving any issues and imperfections.
